Recently some friends moved into a brand-new apartment! Mike Barnet and Mike Seaholm (or Mike and Mike or Mike and Sea-Dog as we refer to them) moved in to an apartment over in Imperial Circle together. To celebrate the new place we had an apartment warming party for them. We got a bunch of food, drinks, ice, movies, and games. We started off by doing some pre-party shopping at Festival around 3. At 4 we headed back to the apartment and socialized with the people that were already there and waited for the people that were still coming.

The place is pretty nice. It still looks a little bare, but I have a feeling it’ll be full and homey in no time.

We mostly watched TV shows and played some card games while waiting to get going with making pizza. Bryan made a great Sangria for the occasion. Kayla was supposed to show up at 6, but she canceled… We were going to have 12 people or so but I think we only ended up with 8… I’m too lazy to count the actual amount so we’ll just say 8 as a rough estimate. I went to pick Sayaka up and then we went and did some more shopping (we needed to get some chips, ice and limes for drinks). We came back and the pizza was about done. It wasn’t frozen pizza either, we made it from scratch.

It turned out really well.
We had sangria and pizza and voted for a movie. The options were many, but in the end The Big Lebowski won out mostly because there were enough people that hadn’t seen it yet. It was great, even the sixth time watching it.

We started playing Mario and taking turns at each level / death. We beat the first one.

The goal was to finish all of the games. We finished the first one and part of the second one, got bored and moved onto other things.
