Back over winter vacation my webcam clip snapped and it fell off my monitor. George, using his smart engineering skills managed to construct a makeshift solution of toothpicks and scotch tape. This held for a while. Until yesterday. It finally snapped and now it looks like I have no way of holding my webcam in position. The camera still works fine, but with no clip that puts me in the market for a new webcam.

I feel like there should be some way that duct tape could fix this. Can’t you just buy a chip clip and then glue the camera to that? $2 fix. :)

Haha, good idea, Mariel. I took your advice, thanks. I got some duct tape (actually a $3.41 solution!) and tried to fix it with that. Unfortunately, that didn’t work either. I’ll have to play around with it a little more. I don’t want to go the chip clip option as it has uneven edges that will be digging into my monitor. Also, I definitely want something that looks a little bit better than a chip clip sitting at the top of my screen… haha
