George got up relatively early to make everyone breakfast. George likes to cook and is pretty good at it, so he made a good breakfast.

He made a pretty traditional American breakfast. Ham and cheese omelets, pancakes, and bacon.

When we were done with breakfast we laid around and did nothing for a while. When we finally got the energy to do something, we didn’t know what to do. Eventually we decided we should just go to the mall for the sake of doing something rather than nothing.
When we got there, Asami tried a hot dog.
Then she went to try a vending machine.

When we were done at the mall, we went back to my family’s house to start New Years celebrations.

Around 9:30 we got ready to head out to a party at Chris’ apartment. Before we left though, we took a photo of us blowing into New Years’ blowers…

We got to Chris’ and there were a lot of people there. I knew about half of them, the rest I either hadn’t met yet or knew very little.

Around 3:30 we decided to head back to my place. We ended the celebrations with having some ramen and watching music videos on TV.
