George, our good friend during my study abroad in Nagasaki drove up from Madison to spend a few days with us. Initially we planned for two days, but he said he could spend New Years with us, too. So, he stayed at my dorm and we had a great time together. The Nagasaki trio was back together!
George got into Eau Claire around 2pm.

I took them to Action City, one of the few things that Eau Claire has to do.
Go Karts. Asami really didn’t want to ride them because she thought they looked scary. But, we did ride them. Asami just drove really slow.

We went and bought some candy with our tickets since we had just enough for everyone. Ever since Asami came to America she wanted to try taffy, because she heard from her friend that when he had taffy it was really shocking. So, she had some expecting something very tasty…
But was not very pleased… She didn’t eat the rest.
We went to Festival to pick out some Wisconsin beers.

When we got back, we ordered Asami’s first pizza! Bryan came over and then the party started.

The following day, I planned to meet Larry at Shanghai and have him show his restaurant. Unfortunately, he overslept! So, we enjoyed it ourselves.

George actually ordered the knock-out roll. I couldn’t believe it! I tried to warn him, but his adventurous spirit wouldn’t have it.
He actually had quite a good run. He ate it all! It’s the first time I’d ever seen anyone eat all of it.
But it wasn’t easy.
When we got back to the dorm, George showed Asami how to make snow angels.

We got a call from Larry apologizing for over sleeping and then invited us to dinner and bowling later on.
