This weekend I went to see the wedding of my cousin, Brian. So far, he’s the first of my cousins to get married. We left on Saturday morning, arrived at our hotel around 12:30 and got to the wedding at 3.

Dining area.

The main building as seen from the ceremony area.

Grandma.

People getting seated for the ceremony.

Aunt Kathleen, Mother of the Groom.
The ceremony began at 4:00, and it was a pretty traditional setup. I’ve never been to a wedding in person before, so I was surprised that weddings were still done so traditionally. It’s mostly just what you’d expect.

Fred gave a speech to Emily and Brian at the beginning.

Katie and Mariel on the end.

A nice standing shot.

Exchanging rings.

Giving flowers to some people. I don’t know what this tradition is.

Walking back down the aisle.

Back to the building for cocktail hour, snacks, and dinner.

The wedding cake.

Dinner.

All of the main people in the wedding ate up at the front, except the parents.

Emily and Brian made this wine together for the wedding.
