We woke up at 5:30am, getting about 2 hours of sleep. I took a shower and got ready, Asami finished the packing, and her mom came to get all of us to bring us to the bus stop. We took the bus from Sumiyoshi to Fukuoka, and it took about 2 hours. We made our way to the domestic terminal for our flight to Tokyo.

Nate watching the planes go by.
Nate went to go through security early, and Asami and I were left with an hour and a half before I had to leave for my flight. We went over to the lounge, paid 500 yen to get in and had some free endless drinks, but we didn’t even finish one cup. We talked for a while and then it was eventually time to say goodbye. It was very sad saying goodbye after all of the fun and adventures we had. I really didn’t want to leave Japan, but Asami says she intends to come to America on her winter vacation.
I got on my flight to Tokyo, and it was okay. It was pretty short.
I had a five hour layover in Tokyo with Nate and Chris. Then, I stepped on the plane to take me to America… It was 9 and a half hours to San Fransisco, and not a very fun flight. It also got in way late, so I missed my connecting flight to Minnesota. They rescheduled my ticket for 2 hours later. After that flight, and 30 hours of traveling, I was finally in Minnesota.
The following night, I handed out gifts from Japan.

Mom holding up Japanese liquor.

Sierra deciding which one she likes better.

Mom and Dad with some gifts. Chopsticks, bowls, drinks, cups, and a bandana.

Mom and I and a cup I bought her in Kyoto with Osaka dialect written on it.

Dad and I in his Engrish shirt.

Grandma and I and her tea.

Japanese drinks selected by me.

Dad trying melon soda.
Sunday night, I went over to Bryan’s for a cookout. I gave him his birthday gift from Japan:

Orgasm Donor.
A note regarding Engrish findings: I had taken a lot of photos with my Japanese phone that I had intended to post, but unfortunately I forgot to email them to myself before leaving Japan. Now I’m in America and I can’t send any mail because there is no service on it. So, I guess all of those Engrish findings will just be lost, sadly.

In other news, I got a new American phone when I returned. I got the EnV Touch:

My new phone.
