Asami had her first day of vacation on Wednesday, so we slept in. When we woke up and got ready, we went to get her car which she parked at her work. We had lunch at Yumei Saito and got this really great tasting pizza:

This pizza was really great. That’s an egg in the center, by the way.
After lunch, we went to the arcade on the top floor to try and win something. We failed, though. At least we got to drive the tiny car:

George was in the area, so he gave us a call and came to meet us at the arcade. From the arcade, we went to Suwa Shrine together, a place Asami has been wanting to take me forever. George hadn’t been there either, so it was the perfect place to check out.
Suwa Shrine is a famous Shinto shrine in Nagasaki:

There were a lot of turtles.

And pigeons.

Pigeons everywhere.

Later that night, the three of us decided to go to Izakaya together. Izakaya is a popular string of bars / restaurants in Sumiyoshi. We picked a yakitori / bar that none of us had been to before.

Art.

We tried pig ear salad. I liked it more than I expected to.

Geroge and Asami – Cheers!
