And the one that I watched today: Japanese Story
It was a sad story, which I wasn’t expecting at all. I thought it would be a moving movie about people expanding their horizons and accepting different cultures. Alas, when the tragedy set in I realized things were going to be a bit different. I think I’ve been seeing too many sad movies lately and am becoming desensitized to tragedy in films. It was sad, but I didn’t really feel much for the characters. The acting talent was very good, but I didn’t like the actors especially. If you’re not one for sad films, I wouldn’t recommend it. If you’re one for sad films, then I would recommend it, but you’ve probably seen it all before.
