I just finished making my second Android App. This one I am particularly proud of because I got to practice many new things to make it. Although it may look simple, there are a lot of things that go into making an app like this. If you have an android device, you should download it and give it a try! I even made the sounds and icons from scratch.

I received a comment a few minutes ago on one of my older posts from last year. I’ve never received a comment on an older post that wasn’t spam, so I didn’t give it much thought. However, I gave it a quick read and it was actually someone from United Noodles thanking me for my visit. The post was about a takoyaki party I had last February: [ Link ] You can’t buy octopus in Eau Claire, so we had to go to United Noodles to get it. United Noodles, I guess after seeing this post, left the following message as a comment.

So, thanks to you as well, Lucy! As long as we’re on the topic of United Noodles, I might as well say that I do frequent their market to get things that I can’t get where I live. If you live in Wisconsin or Minnesota, it is probably the best asian market in your area. They have tons of stuff from many, many countries and even a small cafe. I think I forgot to mention I got a new job! I quit my job at OfficeMax and just had my first day at JAMF Software today. The first day went really great. I went through day one orientation, they took me out to lunch, and gave me this:
I’d say that’s a pretty good day! I’ll be working as an intern during my last year of school (which starts this month) doing scripting for stress-testing software. Second day is tomorrow!
